Verdict

This is a weak claimer and we will nominate WOVOKA to get the better of Fortunate Bid and Rowan Lodge. The selection is the only course and distance winner in the field and he may be capable of taking advantage of this drop in grade. He has been disappointing of late but he has conditions to suit today and he won't get a better opportunity to resume winning ways. Fortunate Bid went close in this grade at Redcar last time out and he has relatively few miles on the clock. He is an obvious danger, while Rowan Lodge is eased in grade and at this level he has shown admirable consistency. Whaston won a handicap back in July and he has had a little break since his last run. He is another entitled to make the frame, but the vote goes to Wovoka.
