Verdict

WOR LASS continues on her merry way and Anna Hesketh eased her down when completing a five-timer over two miles at Musselburgh last week. She has a penalty to contend with but that's unlikely to prevent victory number six. Braes Of Lochalsh has also found his form and though his two recent victories have been over slightly shorter he has no problems staying the extra. Jan Smuts hasn't won since scoring here in May of last year but he's been running well and is on exactly the same mark although he was beaten by Exclusive Contract at Thirsk and the latter is very well handicapped compared to when beaten by the selection here last time. Chevalgris showed that staying is his game when scoring over 2m1f at Pontefract and he's only 3lb higher.
