This seems on the short side for Stags Leap, who has completed a hat-trick over hurdles from 2m4f upwards and didn't really impress when last seen on the Flat. GABRIAL'S HOPE ran well over 1m1f at Redcar and though never getting involved over this track and trip on Friday is better than that and gets the nod in a moderate contest. The three-year-old Spirit Of The Sea has yet to win but has gone close on several occasions recently and her turn can't be far off while Sociopath makes his handicap debut after the three requisite runs in maidens and steps up to this much more suitable trip for the first time.
