      Verdict

Another batch of unexposed types in action and the market will provide plenty of clues. Vas Y Carla showed thew benefit of her debut outing when just touched off over this trip at Leicester last month and the daughter of Gone West looks sure to be in the firing line at this level while John Gosden's Damsel is another to closely consider following a fair placed effort at Chepstow last time. Sir Michael Stoute is represented by Peeress, a well bred daughter of Pivotal out of a smart race mare by Primo Dominie who could prove capable of winning first time up while another newcomer to note is John Dunlop's Ashwaaq, a half-sister to the high-class miler Bahri.
