Verdict

A whole host of well-bred newcomers face the starter here and the market may prove the best guide to their respective chances. We'll take a chance on INTREPID, who should have the pace for this being by Invincible Spirit and still holds an entry in a valuable sales race at Doncaster next month. Correggio is one to keep an eye on as is Hartwright, though the latter will probably do better when tackling an extra furlong. Daaree and Price Is Truth represent Godolphin and the second-named looks the pick of that pair on breeding. He is possibly a little more interesting than Chief Inspector and Epic Battle on debut.
