Nigel Tinkler did brilliantly to saddle Ginger Jam to five victories last summer. All were at a lower level than this but he's only up 3lb for his last success so can't be ruled out. TEXTING won twice at Ascot last summer including a Class 3 handicap from just 3lb lower so gets the nod in a wide-open handicap. Saluti has managed five victories and Paul Midgley will have him tuned up but Majic J was disappointing on Tapeta and Fibresand last season after a winning debut at Yarmouth as a juvenile. Chairmanoftheboard also made a successful two-year-old debut and hasn't won subsequently while The Night Watch is having his first start for Milton Bradley and will be ready for this.
