With David Loder and Jamie Spencer both in great form at the moment we will have to side with Stetchworth Prince, Horn Pipe and Tax Free are just two of many dangers. This consistent colt has the best recent handicap form on show having finished a close up third behind Jedburgh in the Buckingham Palace Stakes at the Royal York meeting. It was only his third run of this season and he should be capable of further improvement. Hornpipe is even less exposed having been successful last time over the five furlong trip here on only his second run of the season. He hails from a top yard and has to be given every respect. Tax Free made a winning debut at Thirsk back in may and has since run with credit in two handicaps. He gets in here on bottom weight and has to be of each-way interest. Of the others Pike Bishop will improve for his debut run behind the smart Resplendent Glory, but our idea of the winner is Stetchworth Prince.
