    Verdict

A really tough start for punters at the start of another cracking day’s racing. Frontiersman won this last year for Charlie Appleby under a big weight and Wolf Country shares top weight, though is one of three carrying the blue of Godolphin. Celestial Spheres won over 1m2f here in November and has been going well over 1m4f on the all-weather since. Duke Of Bronte never stopped improving last year and made a winning reappearance at Chelmsford but Uae Prince may have a bit to prove now. Adamant almost won from an unpromising position at Newbury last month and has been very lightly raced but there is no guarantee he’ll appreciate the extra quarter-mile. Ian Williams is a shrewd operator and it was no surprise to RESHOUN find some form in the autumn after a couple of prep races. He’s gone up 8lb since scoring at Doncaster in October but will likely improve again this
