The three-year-olds will need to be well above average to improve on their record of one win in the last ten seasons and AL KHALEEJ may be the one to side with in an open race. The 2008 Victoria Cup second ran an encouraging race on debut for this yard at Goodwood which should have put him spot on for this test and he's attractively weighted on the pick of his form. Redford has the ability if David Nicholls can work his magic on the gelding with Day Of The Eagle, Gallagher and Manassas others with claims on the pick of their form whilst Hajoum is attractively weighted and makes plenty of appeal for a trainer/jockey combination that team up to good effect at this venue.
