Verdict

Luca Cumani won this with an outsider last year and Henry Cecil returned a 20/1 winner in 2009. The latter runs the newcomers Wild Coco and Ravindra today, while the Bedford House trainer is represented by Lyric Street. He'll relish this longer trip after finishing third on last year's debut at this track, a length behind today's rival MALANOS. David Elsworth's gelding is a half-brother to a German Oaks winner and gets a tentative vote on his return ahead of Informed Award, who is race-fit from a couple of starts at Windsor. Muqtarrib and Striking Veil are others to consider in a wide-open affair.
