Verdict

LIMATO looks to return to his very best having run well so far this year without reaching the heights of last season’s Group 1 winning form. He was beaten less than a length when fourth on unsuitably soft going in the Lennox at Goodwood last time and Henry Candy’s charge may just edge out Dabyah in this. The Fred Darling winner hasn’t raced since beaten in the Coronation Cup at Ascot by Winter but this is easier and she’s preferred to Group 3 winners Dutch Connection and Mix And Mingle. Massaat and Absolutely So would prefer some cut in the ground while Gifted Master has proved best over 6f so far. True Valour’s second at Leopardstown to Suedois is working out well and he’s preferred to compatriot Cougar Mountain.
