BURATINO and Gifted Master both made winning starts but the former came out best of that pair when third in a conditions race at Ascot last month. He never threatened the winner but showed signs of his inexperience when veering at the start and Mark Johnston's colt should stay this longer trip. Hugo Palmer's charge did himself no favours by taking a strong hold in the early stages at Ascot and will need to settle better to reverse latest running.
