    Verdict

Comedy King was never travelling when starting favourite for the Cumberland Plate at Carlisle last time and finished behind Excellent Puck - he now has questions to answer. English Summer is thoroughly exposed but still pops up on occasion, as he did last time at Epsom. Mysterial is having a good season and makes more appeal than Nonchalant and Castle Combe but the three-year-olds should dominate this. SHE IS NO LADY has taken a while to come good but she's on a steep upward curve now judged on her runaway win at Carlisle and she can get the better of Rhythmical, upped 5lb since finishing second to Tashaar at Goodwood.
