    Verdict

Muzdawaj stepped up from his Wolverhampton maiden victory to land a handicap at Redcar on soft ground and though 5lb higher in this better race is obviously improving. It's difficult to know what to make of LUSORY, who looked very green at Haydock but ran on very strongly over that mile once the penny dropped. He could prove to be better than an 86-rated handicapper and is handed the vote. Staunch made a big impression at Nottingham and can only improve while Mainstream has been finding 1m4f stretching his stamina after scoring over this trip at Salisbury. Shaan has done nothing wrong though her pedigree suggests this trip could prove beyond her and Vivre Pour Vivre drops down a class after finding Newbury's London Gold Cup a step too far.
