Verdict

LYN VALLEY has been allotted a mark of 90 on the back of a second to Brazos at Goodwood. If the handicapper is right, then Mark Johnston's colt is well ahead of the others with racecourse experience and should be opening his account in this. Greed Is Good posted a much better effort when an outsider at Sandown last time but that was over 7f while Punk's third at Kempton represents the best form the remainder have so far managed. The newcomer Amood could prove the biggest threat, however, as he's a half-brother to 1000 Guineas heroine Lahan among others.
