Verdict

A maiden that has unveiled some smart sorts in the past and it would be surprising if today's event were to prove any different. With many of the top Newmarket stables represented, the market should as always provide a reliable guide in pointing punters in the right direction. We are going to side with experience here and select Nashmiah, who showed a brimful of promise on her racecourse debut. Held-up quite a way off the pace, she made eye-catching progress down the straight at Kempton before greenness took its measure as she wavered around. The stiff seven here should suit while a low draw will certainly benefit provided the riders opt to race up the far rail. Of the newcomers there are a number who catch the eye most notably, the High Chapperal filly High Heeled and the Gosden trained Rainbow View. Peter Savill's homebred Caravan Of Dreams is another well-bred sort but can be expected to be more effective over further while Going Time tackles seven furlongs for the first time after outings over five and six furlongs respectively. While the additional yardage will suit she will need to step up given the likely above average nature of this maiden. Market support for Impressionist Art would be significant given connections as she is related to some very smart sorts. Nashmiah is a tentative selection to land this fillies maiden which is likely to provide plenty of future winners.
