In depth

Verdict

Unusually for a maiden of this nature many of those with the best chances seem to be those who are unraced, and the tentative suggestion is GHOSTWATCH . On jockey bookings he would seem to be the second choice of the Charlie Appleby runners but Jamie Spencer is obviously a highly capable rider regardless and this newcomer's huge price tag and pedigree should not be ignored. John Gosden's Qatar Racing newcomer Roaring Lion is preferred next, ahead of the other Appleby runner Kind Act .
