Verdict

Roger Charlton's stable is ending the season in style and L'Ancresse is the TEAMtalk selection to continue the current trend. The daughter of Darshaan made a highly satisfying racecourse debut when landing a conditions event over this trip at Newbury last month despite running green through the early stages. There should be plenty of improvement to come and looks a smart prospect in the making. Yesterday had her limitations exposed in the Prix Marcel Boussac last time but had previously finished runner-up in a soft ground Group 3 at The Curragh and could give the selction most to fear. There is little to choose between Duty Paid and Luvah Girl on Ascot form in June but both return from an absence. Dialing Tone has more to do than when winnng a Redcar maiden last time but Casual Look has claims on her second behind Soviet Song in the Fillies Mile.
