    Verdict

Cross Channel gets the vote to win the fillies' mile with Nasheej and Nannina rating the main dangers. The selection showed an impressive turn of foot when beating Rising Cross with plenty in hand last time. She looks sure to improve again and under conditions that suit she will be hard to beat. Nasheej rates the main danger as she won a Group 2 in good style last time when beating High Heel Sneakers. She looks sure to confirm superiority over that rival. Nannina is another worthy of respect as she also won well last time when beating Rising Cross but on a line through that horse she has a little to find with the selection. Of the remainder, Alexandrova is from a top yard and is very well bred but needs to improve dramatically on what she has shown on the course so far to trouble the principals. The rest look outclassed and are readily opposed and for the winner we return to Cross Channel.
