Meydan Princess comes from a yard in great form and Jeremy Noseda's charge can win this decent prize, with Musical Beat perhaps the chief threat. The selection is back over her optimum trip and has conditions to suit here, after losing all chance over 6f last time when slowly away. Putting a line through that run gives us plenty of confidence that she can return to some very consistent form over 7f here and a mark of 89 is still fair on what she has achieved so we'll side with her. Musical Beat also has conditions in her favour and Vicky Haigh's filly was doing her best work at the end at Doncaster last time, so she can go close. Dubai Power won with plenty in hand at Kempton last time but the handicapper picked up on that and raised her 9lb. This will therefore be tougher, but you wouldn't be surprised if she were good enough. Mick Channon drops Silca Chiave back in class after contesting a Group 2 last time and with the West Ilsley handler in good nick you'd expect her to run a big race. Oceana Blue has frame claims at her best, while Medici Pearl might find the ground a bit too quick and we prefer Meydan Princess.
