In depth

Verdict

Audacious comfortably won his maiden at Lingfield earlier in the month and has to be of interest on his handicap debut. Jehanbux beat older rivals on his reappearance at Goodwood and is another to consider but Sandown winner Malthouse has more on his plate here under a penalty and Blue Destination steps up in grade after scoring at Yarmouth. Flag Officer is on the upgrade and Shooting Gallery kept good company as a two-year-old and is likely to be fully primed for his comeback run but the vote goes to DANADANA. Luca Cumani has been very patient with this son of Dubawi but he showed a glimpse of his potential when landing a Newcastle maiden last month with something to spare and he's got in here on a lenient-looking mark.
