In depth

Verdict

Ursa Minor will no doubt improve on his second here last month and sets the standard but MILITARY MARCH could provide stiff opposition. Saeed bin Suroor’s New Approach colt is a full brother to useful stayer Clongowes so will be a force over middle-distances next year but he’s also related to winners over shorter trips and his dam won over 7f and 1m as a juvenile. Jacksonian is by Frankel and worth a market check while Johan is another nicely-bred newcomer who should win races.
