    Verdict

YIBIR is rated 11lb clear of everything else and only has to concede 3lb. Charlie Appleby's charge had a brilliant 2021 winning four of his five starts and the Breeders' Cup Turf at Del Mar. Beaten a neck in the Dubai Sheema Classic at Meydan last month he'll be at short odds but can't be opposed. The Johnstons' have two entries with four-times winner West End Charmer better than Living Legend on Turf though the latter arrives in brilliant form having won the All-Weather Middle Distance Championship at Newcastle. Outbox won a Listed race here last June but had his day in the sun when landing the lucrative Amir Trophy at Doha in February. Raymond Tusk had Red Verdon four lengths behind when runner-up in the Group 3 John Porter at Newbury.
