      In depth

      Verdict

Shady McCoy has been well backed the last twice but needs to have everything go his way and never threatened last time at York. Makzeem weakened quickly after starting favourite at Sandown while Ice Lord was only fourth at Doncaster after going close on the Rowley Mile here earlier. KHAMAARY (NAP) just failed to defy a 16lb rise when beaten by the rallying Lincoln Rocks at Musselburgh and has been raised another 4lb since. But she’s a fast-improving filly and the return to 7f could see her back in the winner’s enclosure. In a race carrying his name, Silvestre De Sousa partners Twin Appeal while Professor has been hinting at a revival lately. Scottish Glen isn't getting any younger while Supersta is best on Polytrack.
