    In depth

    Verdict

Anna Nerium looked ready for an extra furlong when third here on her second start. She’s the only filly in this line-up but also the most experienced with five of her seven rivals making their debuts. AL HAJAR is a full brother to Volition, who won over this trip and a mile. The Godolphin colt isn’t highly tried on his introduction and may well be good enough. Jawwaal was bought for £140,000 as a yearling having only cost 45,000gns as a foal and is another interesting newcomer while Groveman and Game Player are likely improvers.
