Verdict

As is the norm in these events, any strong support for one of the newcomers could prove significant. Of those, Bitter Lake is a half-sister to Fillies' Mile heroine Lyric Of Light. Lashkaal is the first foal of a Listed winner and preferred to stablemate Nancy Astor while Stone Roses is out of a prolific mare and makes more appeal than Hoorayforhollywood. But LOOKING GOOD made a satisfactory debut at Sandown last week despite being slowly away and she's fancied to find the necessary improvement with that experience under her belt.
