Brave Anna returned a 25/1 shock winner for Aidan O’Brien in last year’s renewal but Clemmie is the ante-post favourite this year having won a Group 2 contest at the July meeting here. Collateral form with the latter gives recent Flying Childers winner HEARTACHE every chance having beaten Prix Morny runner-up Havana Grey at Doncaster last time and Cilve Cox’ filly should have no problem with today’s extra furlong. The unbeaten Threading is another with claims after winning the Lowther at York in good style and should confirm running with Madeline while the French filly Different League has a shout on her third in the Prix Morny. Betty F made a winning start in a Newmarket novice race and could be anything.
