There can now be little disputing that Sunday Symphony came up against a colt of enormous potential when he made his debut at the July course in the summer and the Godolphin runner is fancied to be the one to beat here. Danehill Willy and Natalie Jane have form on the ground and are expected to make a fist of it, while Wotchalike made the most of an good opportunity at Bath eleven days ago and is entitled to take his chance at this bigger prize. However, like Natalie Jane, this is a much stiffer level of competition than he has faced previously and others make more appeal. Danehill Willy showed plenty of guts when winning here over a mile just over a fortnight ago and will be a big threat if, as expected, he gets the trip today. However, Sunday Symphony has already proved himself capable on that score and, as he still has a fair bit of maturing to do, he should still have enough improvement left in the locker to cope with today's challenge.
