Verdict

CRAZY EYES is taken to account for Olivino and Rapide Plaisir. Charlie Mann went to the trouble of taking his four-year-old all the way up to Cartmel to pilfer a prize and having run with a fair degree of credit in victory, he is taken to follow up this afternoon. Olivino has been a credit to connections as he has posted three victories over the summer. He was well beaten on a previous foray under similar conditions so the jury is out off this mark this afternoon. Rapide Plaisir is still more than capable at his advanced years. Second in two recent outings at the course, if he acts on the surface, he has chances. Willie's Way won well over three miles at Bangor. He is not without ability though today's trip is probably sharp enough on balance. Sheikhman did win at Uttoxeter for Richard Ford. There is a suspicion that the handicapper has his measure at the present. Comments that equally apply to Triple Bluff. Prince De Bersy is a previous course and distance winner though has been badly out of sorts of late. Crazy Eyes could be on the upgrade and has been presented with a fair chance of a follow up.
