In depth

Verdict

The free-going Gunship will make this a thorough test but has never suggested he is capable of winning off this kind of mark. Fakenham second Isle Of Inishmore may also be in the handicapper's grip now so this may rest between MARIGOLDS WAY and Simply Strong. Charlie Mann's seven-year-old got the better of the former when runner-up to Life Of A Luso over C&D three weeks ago but Anthony Honeyball's charge may have gone for home too soon that day and is 6lb better off now. With the stronger handling of Sam Thomas also in his favour, he is taken to come out on top today.
