Manolo can get the better of Brave Hiawatha and Chariot, with Forzacurity and Ressource also worth a mention. This is not a strong contest by any stretch of the imagination, and despite having to shoulder topweight, Manolo is taken to go one better than when second at Cartmel at the end of last month. That was on softer ground as was his earlier effort at Taunton, but as he was successful on faster going when trained in France, hopes are high that he can gain his first success for the Heather Dalton yard. Brave Hiawatha shaped well enough on his last outing in April when second to the odds-on Traprain, proving that he handles fast conditions, but he will be sharper for the run. Chariot has a bit more to do than when landing a selling handicap at Stratford last time, while Forzacurity has been found wanting this term but is a past course-and-distance winner. Ressource really needs further on latest evidence, and all in all, Manolo must have a sound chance.
