Verdict

Colonel Custard and Ruffling Feathers have shown signs of ability but this may be all about newcomers representing powerful yards. Alan King’s Colonel Miller is definitely worth a market check and the French-bred Earth Prince cost £55,000. TOP OF THE CHARTS is a half-brother to a Flat and hurdles winner and cost connections €80,000. Warren Greatrex’ bumper horses usually know their job and the booking of Richard Johnson further boosts confidence.
