Verdict

DAIS RETURN is taken to land the opener and complete his hat-trick at the expense of Dunkelly Castle and Bolton Hall. The selection comes into the race having won at Sedgefield and most recently over course and distance. He runs with his penalty to carry but in the context of the race his form does look better than the majority of his rivals and if reproducing his best he will be difficult to beat. Dunkelly Castle broke his maiden tag at Exeter last month and is clearly no mug. That said he was a little disappointing at Bangor last time out and therefore he looks vulnerable with a penalty. Tony McCoy is booked to ride Bolton Hall and Keith Goldsworthy has his small team of horses in fantastic form at present. He was not beaten far behind the selection on his latest run over course and distance and can once again be in the shake up. Philadelphus is a young horse that will improve in time but Dais Return looks the form pick and is not easy to oppose.
