Theo bids for a hat-trick raised 9lb for winning at Uttoxeter last time. He should still go well again but BISTOURI D’HONORE bounced back to form with a victory over these hurdles last month and it could pay to stick with Paul Nicholls’ charge in this. Retrieve has been winning on the Flat having missed the whole of last year and won at Musselburgh in 2015 when last over hurdles while What A Scorcher also returns to hurdling off a decent mark having raced three times on the level so far this year. Towering won a seller at Hexham earlier and Gannicus landed a maiden hurdle at Fakenham last month.
