Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

A competitive contest but MOONLIGHT MAGGIE remains on a workable mark for Tom George to exploit, is agreeably consistent and has produced the best of her form on sharp tracks which augurs well for her chances here. She remains on an unchanged mark after her recent Towcester runner-up effort and should run her race. The Bay Bandit boasts some appealing form figures of late but it is a case of punter beware as his last four successes have all been gained in the Channel Islands and this represents a far more demanding challenge although he's not discounted. Plenty of others are respected but none more so than Truckin All Night on his first run for Don Cantillon since crossing the Irish Sea. He must be checked in the market, whilst recent scorer All But Grey is also one for the shortlist.
