Verdict

Louis Phillipe is something of a course specialist but his lack of a recent run is a worry. Kapgarde King is another returning from a break but King's Song won at Southwell last month and Jack Snipe arrives off the back of a victory at Worcester. ORIENTAL FIXER was keen on his chasing bow here but stayed on strongly to land the spoils. That will have taught him plenty and he has more scope than his rivals, including long-standing maiden Jonagold.
