He still finished ahead of Pickett's Charge and could gain compensation granted better luck in-running today with Silvestre De Sousa again doing the steering. Therthaar just failed to pick up the winning thread again at Wolverhampton last month but has yet to figure on Turf whereas Scribner Creek was only beaten a nose on his debut on this surface here two runs ago, though is 7lb higher now. Manton Grange is still seeking a first win but has been second twice, including on his reappearance at Bath.
