Verdict

Storm On The Run stands out here and gets the call ahead of Mr Sandicliffe and Macademy Royal. Courtesy of his juvenuile seconds to subsequent Listed placed Jeremy and this year's Greenham Stakes winner Red Clubs, the selection boasts the best form on offer. QED. Mr Sandicliffe is becoming frustrating, having finished second in all bar one of his seven start although, because the form is solid maiden form, he cannot be ruled out of some money, at least, again. Macademy Royal ran well on Lingfield's all-weather surface on his first run following a gelding operation last time but more will be needed today, while Proud Killer will also need to build on his Folkestone third last time on soft going. Spinning showed promise on his all-weather debut, but the bare form looks modest, and, with his stable in pretty good form, Luca Cumani's Falmassim gets a mention, as do other newcomers, Tender Process and Cape. Overall, though, the vote stays with Storm On The Run.
