In depth

Verdict

Vaunt can land this opener at the expense of Froissee and Mayor Of London. The selection caught the eye at Bath last time out when second to Bodes Galaxy. He is a horse that has not stopped improving with each run and he is taken to break his maiden tag this fourth time of asking. Froissee ran well on his debut when third at Newmarket. He ran green that day and was slow away so improvement is definitely on the cards so any market moves should be noted. Mayor Of London has his debut for the Johnston stable who generally don't give their newcomers a hard time so is probably best watched. So for the winner we return to Vaunt.
