What Katie Did is the pick at the weights but she's failed to reach the frame in six runs on grass and the blinkers will need to have the desired effect if she's to take this prize. So, we're going to side with New York Oscar. The selection has a bit to prove on turf as well but he's been keeping much better company than this on the all-weather of late and is worth chancing in this class from a decent draw with blinkers replacing cheekpieces. The form of the Millman string brings Vogarth into the equation and he ran well enough for long enough in a handicap over seven last time to suggest that he could be a factor. Racing Stripes is relatively consistent and should be a factor in this contest despite facing a stiff task strictly on official ratings. Ratings bring Flight Plan into consideration and he didn't fare too badly three starts back but found little for pressure last time. Preference is for New York Oscar.
