    Verdict

BOOGIE WALTZER can extend her run of good form; possibly at the main expense of Murura and Kylladdie. The last named has been struggling against slightly better opponents and will appreciate this ease in grade. Still, the burden of top weight doesn't make it easy for him and he needs to be on song today. The gelding is fit from a winter campaign on the all-weather, though. Murura stepped up markedly on his debut to score at Wolverhampton last month and, given the manner of the victory, he may have plenty more to offer. His stable has started the campaign with a flourish so a careful monitoring of the betting market is advised where he is concerned. Of the others: Val C has been running well since switching yards and is capable of a bold show, while Billie Jean has struggled since winning at Southwell and looks to be handicapped to the hilt. Similar comments apply to Tell Me A Story, who was disappointing when last seen out and her long absence is off-putting today. In summary: Kylladdie is dropping in the weights and has to be respected. However, Boogie Waltzer has a more rounded profile as a proven sprinter and, having gone close on her only previous visit to Nottingham, the mount of William Carson looks the most solid option here.
