Verdict

Some useful handicappers have won this maiden in recent seasons and TIMELESS STRIDE and Excellent Aim may develop into such whilst Twice As Nice is an interesting newcomer. The suggestion is the runner from Freemason Lodge who fetched 100,000 guineas as a yearling but didn't make the racecourse until appearing on the Rowley Mile course last month. He showed promise enough on that occasion to finish in midfield just over two lengths behind the winner, Balducci. About two lengths further back in that contest was Excellent Aim who did attract some support prior to his debut. His run was not without promise and Eddie Ahern has an excellent strike rate for the yard. Major Eradicator failed to justify strong market support on debut but may well step up on that form but the most interesting of the remainder may be Twice As Nice who's a brother to the useful If Paradise although it's a concern that he hasn't seen the racetrack until now given the precocity of his pedigree. The market may well provide a pointer but the suggestion, at this stage, is Timeless Stride.
