Verdict

SCOTS PIPER may prove best of a modest bunch stepping up in distance after making his handicap debut over a mile at Ripon. William Booth could only manage fourth over course and distance in an earlier maiden race but Daily Trader landed a double on the all-weather early this year and is back on a winning mark. Zehrah went close at Chelmsford back in March but has failed to figure in a couple of outings on Turf while Vigee Le Brun may do better with Silvestre De Sousa on board today.
