There are some interesting newcomers in the field for this maiden including Henry Cecil's Dynaformer filly Nordic Spruce and Walter Swinburn's Silent Serenade but they will need to be useful to get the better of the selection, CATALINAS DIAMOND. Brendan Duke's filly ran well on her first two starts in maidens at Bath and Leicester and was far from disgraced when a creditable fifth in the Queen Mary last month, form on which she looks the one that they all have to beat. Ralph Beckett saddles a daughter of Tale Of The Cat in Carrignavar, who could be of interest first time out as could Ed McMahon's Acclamation filly Scantily Clad and any market support for either should be noted. Magic Stella was highly tried in the Albany Stakes last time and was well beaten but she has shown promise prior to that and cannot be completely ruled out but it is hard to get away from Catalinas Diamond, who can confirm the promise shown in maidens and at Royal Ascot.
