Verdict

Spartilla won two poor races at Kempton but couldn't complete a hat-trick on Fibresand at Southwell from today's mark and the handicapper may have got to him. SOMEMOTHERSDOHAVEM looked a tricky ride on his penultimate start at Windsor then attempted to make all there a week later. Ryan Moore takes over the reigns this time and John Ryan's charge can gain his second victory after last year's Wolverhampton success. Spanish Fork was a long way behind in that second Windsor race but was going on at the end of that 1m4f so today's trip should suit. It's hard to get excited about the remainder though Bathwick Street didn't run badly here in September and will be better for a recent run.
