    Verdict

It could pay to stick with EASTERN WARRIOR who is nominated to get the better of Sabi Star and Candy Ride. Trainer John Hills has already been amongst the winners this month and Eastern Warrior looks a good bet to score. He has twice gone close at Haydock this season, he goes on any ground and now that he is dropped back into maiden company he can open his account. John Gosden sends Sabi Star to post and he is worthy of plenty of respect. He is unexposed and he ran very green on his seasonal return at Yarmouth last month and if he can build on that then he would have to enter calculations. Candy Ride showed improved form at Windsor last month and although she was no match for Strawberrydaiquiri that day, she looks capable of winning races this season. Chris Wall's stable are flying at present so the unexposed Kindest could be worth an each-way interest, although she finished behind Candy Lane last time. Eastern Warrior has been knocking on the door and he looks a good bet to land this maiden.
