Verdict

Forest Edge is hard to catch right but stormed to an eight-length win at Bath last week and should go well again, despite a 6lb penalty, though his past record suggests that's not guaranteed. Dick Bos is another recent winner carrying a penalty but that shouldn't stop him confirming latest running with Misplaced Fortune. El Viento is at home in this grade but his best recent efforts have been over the minimum trip while Compton's only win last season came over 7f. NASSAU STORM returned to action with a fine fifth at Ascot and, with that run under his belt, Bill Knight's charge looks set to go close in this off his current mark.
