In depth

Verdict

This is hardly the ideal getting-out stakes being restricted to amateurs with limited experience. Bigbadboy, third at Catterick 10 days ago, and Quoteline Direct are previous course and distance winners but My Brother Mike is an all-weather specialist who hasn’t raced since March. Violet Barton is DREAM POINT’s regular pilot and won on the mare at Catterick last month. The partnership should go close again with Lockdown Dream also a contender under the trainer’s daughter Fern O’Brien. Celtic Force could be best of the rest.
