Cusco can take this at the expense of likely improvers Fort and Secretary General. Cusco at least has shown form on the ground having finished second to Autumn Pearl at Kempton over six furlongs. The step back up in trip should suit and with others having major questions to answer, it is to Richard Hannon's charge we turn. Fort was well supported on two juvenile outings but looks harshly handicapped as a result of those two runs. A move into classified races is understandable under the circumstances. Secretary General had good juvenile behind the likes of Psychiatrist and while entitled to consideration, the combination of a modest return and the predominantly American led breeding gives us cause for opposition. Glebe House ran a career best at Ascot and is now dropped in class. Baileys Dancer's return conversely was little to write home about. In a decent heat, Cusco is nominated as the win selection.
