        Verdict

A clutch of nicely-bred sorts from leading yards so a maiden worth noting for future clues. Rapid Advance looked a winner waiting to happen on the second of two juvenile starts when a strong finisher in a Kempton maiden after running noticably green. Put away subsequently, he should be far more the finished article this term. He may well prove good enough but ZERFAAL does have the benefit of a recent run and the Gosden team is in rampant form. Strongly supported when runner-up on his reappearance, he should be spot-on now and can maximise his edge in fitness. The market should help concerning the remainder, of which the relatively experienced Glasgow Central should be competitive and the unraced High Church makes appeal on paper in a contest that may well throw up a number of future winners.
